How can you best learn and perfect the skills you need to be able to safely control a motorcycle on today’s roads? Whether it’s a refresher session or advanced training, whether you’re a new rider or an old hand, every rider can benefit from some training. Learning and revising riding skills helps keep you learn good habits, eliminate old ones and generally stay safe.
Get assessed by the best
A professional assessment of your riding skills is a relatively cheap and simple process, and will help you identify the areas you need to work on. For most riders the bare minimum is a refresher on road positioning, planning ahead and what to do if someone you're riding with has an accident.

The Enhanced Rider Scheme
You can earn discounts on your insurance by taking training under the Enhanced Rider Scheme (ERS) – a new training package produced by the Driving Standards Agency (DSA). The scheme is designed to benefit all bike riders who have a full motorcycle licence, whether their bike size or experience level. There’s no need to take a test or even any training if your skills are assessed as satisfactory.
